The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. Detailed information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Please refer to the Imprint for contact details.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected when you provide it to us, such as when you enter data into a contact form. Other data is automatically or with your consent collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This includes technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior. In addition, we process data for the purpose of contract processing that you have provided to us in the context of inquiries and/or orders.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain, free of charge, information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data if necessary. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. Additionally, under certain circumstances, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted and, if necessary, to object to the processing of your data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

For this purpose and for any other questions about data protection, you can contact us at any time.

Analysis tools and third-party tools

When you visit this website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This is primarily done with so-called analysis programs.

Detailed information on these analysis programs can be found in the following privacy policy.

This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website access, and other data generated by a website.

The use of the hoster is for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations towards our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

Our hoster will process your data only to the extent necessary to fulfill its contractual obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to such data.

We use the following hoster:

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a data protection legally required contract that ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

3. General Information and Mandatory Information

Data Protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

If you use this website, various personal data will be collected. Personal data is data that can be used to personally identify you. The present privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Storage Period

Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial retention periods); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke a previously given consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and Direct Advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 ABS. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH A PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE PURPOSE OF ASSERTING, EXERCISING OR DEFENDING LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 ABS. 1 GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS BEING PROCESSED FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUCH ADVERTISING AT ANY TIME; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT ADVERTISING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING PURPOSES (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 ABS. 2 DSGVO).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from 'http://' to 'https://' and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correct or delete this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding personal data, you can contact us at any time.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defense or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data – apart from being stored – may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

4. Data Collection on this Website

Cookies

Our websites use so-called 'cookies'. Cookies are small text files that do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or automatic deletion occurs through your web browser.

Cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device. These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to analyze user behavior or display advertisements.

Cookies that are necessary for electronic communication processes (necessary cookies) or for providing certain functions desired by you (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or for optimizing the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. If consent for the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the relevant cookies will be based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analytical purposes, we will inform you separately within the scope of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, ask for your consent.

Plausible

We use the provider Plausible for usage analysis of our websites. You can find Plausible's privacy policy here. Plausible does not store any personal data and we cannot draw any conclusions about your person or location from the data. The only information we receive is the country from which you access our websites, the browser used, and the screen size (in categories). This helps us to offer the websites optimally in all used sizes (desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) as well as for all used browsers. Plausible is GDPR-compliant and does not use cookies for tracking.

OpenAI

In order to create the marketing texts that are displayed on the website, we send your data to a server of OpenAI. The following information is transmitted:

  • All form entries made by the user on the website (e.g. product name, target group, etc.)
  • The language set in the browser

We do not store this data ourselves. Together with a prompt (an instruction for the OpenAI API) created by us, we pass it directly to OpenAI.

You can find OpenAI's privacy policy here.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data are not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Inquiry by email or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.

The data you send us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of your data for the purpose of order processing

If you place an order on our website, we will initially collect the following data in the event of registration in the shop:

  • Title, first name, last name
  • A valid email address
  • Address

The collection of this data is carried out in order to identify you as our customer and to process, fulfill and complete your order. In addition, data concerning your desired payment method will be requested in order to process the payment process. The data processing is carried out on the basis of your order and/or registration and is necessary for the adequate processing of your order and for the mutual fulfillment of obligations arising from the purchase contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Payment service provider Stripe

We use the payment provider Stripe to process payments. You can find Stripe's privacy policy here. We only store your Stripe customer ID to check the status of your payment. All other data is stored on Stripe's servers and is subject to Stripe's policies.

Other processing and sharing of data

In addition to the cases mentioned in this privacy policy, we will only process your data if:

  • you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (e.g. transmission to service providers required for the performance of the contract, particularly postal services, authorities, payment service providers such as Stripe, tax advisors, etc.)
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (in particular retention and transmission obligations under tax and commercial law)
  • processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of us or third parties, in particular to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (e.g. disclosure to courts, debt collection, lawyers), provided that your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require the protection of personal data do not outweigh them

Recipients of the data may also be service providers who we use to operate our business (e.g. technical service providers for the maintenance of software and IT infrastructure) and to fulfill our contractual obligations, and who process the data exclusively on our behalf; such service providers act as processors within the scope of order processing.
